I recently moved to Putney, SW15 and wondered if anyone can recommend a good mixed coarse fishery near by, preferably still water

Thanks

Barnet, S.Herts/N. London
How near? Out to the west there's a load of gravel pits, some day ticket (Farlow's), some season (Cemex, formerly RMC), some club waters, and some syndicate; closer to hand is the Thames , which is nearly a stillwater at this time of year; a few royal parks -Richmond, Osterley, and the Serpentine in Hyde park! Norf of de Rivva There's Potomac pod, Gunnersbury park, which certainly used to be day ticket, and the Regent's/Grand Union canal.
Kieth Arthur is a local, so you could call his show; so's Bill Rushmer who does the southern fishery reports in Tanglers' Mail.
Clubs to check: Bath road PS, Uxbridge Rovers, Gerrads Cross ac, and Cemex, for a start.
Good Hunting!
