I have just started fishing again after a few years off but i am having problems with my rigs.

The fish are picking the bait up and i am having storming runs but i am not hooking the fish.

I am desperate for help and advice.

i've been having the same problem recently.

are you using big baits by any chance?

There is another thread similar to this somewhere else in the forum and it was suggested (i think) that maybe the hook/ rig didn't have enough turning ability.

Maybe, a flexi-ring swivel will solve this, or at least help??

ok lads he is is using a bolt rig size 6 hook and 2 unce lead for carp.

try using smaller baits with a longer hair on one rod and maybe a pop up tight to the shank on another add a bit of shrink tube to create a line alligner on the bottom bait and maybe a withy on the pop up.

Hi everyone

I am going to fish a big water for the first time since i started fishing again.
The water is catch22 in norfolk if anyone knows what baits work well i would appreciate any help.I would like to fish method feeder on one of my rods.
