pike fishing in oxfordshire

I am fairly new to angling and I was wondering if anyone knows of good places to pike fish around oxfordshire? In particular I am interested in finding a good stretch of river and using lures and spinners.
I would be really grateful for any advice.

Try Medley Oxford and Abingdon ticket I believe but anywhere on the Thames near you is good Piking.Try the weirpools in summer but don't ignore the main river, loads of cabbage and lilies in the edge at this time of year which hide Pike and big big Perch.Shads do well.Fish early (first light) and late, midday is not so good on the river for anything other than some fantastic Roach fishing at many stretches.
