Not literally, but in carp fishing terms it was really hot!
Myself and 2 mates have just spent a week out there and it was fishing its head off. We managed to land 95 fish, including 7 sturgeon, in the week for a total weight in excess of 1000kg (1 tonne!). Highlight of the week was Phils sturgeon at 44lbs.
The average weight for each of the fish caught was 23lb+.
Numerous other big fish were caught around the lake with a lot of carp over 35lb.
