Hi everyone out there im new to the forum and i was just wondering has anyone been to bayford lake in hertford.Cos my brother in law goes there alot and he said its great place to fish for big carp.Has anyone go any tips for me cos i will be going soon.I wil be using Pva bags is 15lb line any good to fish with.Thank you to anyone reply's.

most of the carp Ive had from there was from stalking ,as you go on theres a bit of a bay in the far left corner which is quite weedy and they sit in it.
there are bigs cats in their too so 15lb line is good .
this is the place where we see a cat taking a baby duck off the top !

Naa that was in Welwyn Garden City
by the way they have put cats in there now to 45lbs
