I've just seen the new Korda stick klips and I like the look of them.

I've seen posts on here before recomending sea fishing clips but can't seem to find any that look small enough, what size, type, brand do you use and can they be bought online?

Any nudges in the right direction gratefully recieved.

Genie clips Rodders, I have just phoned my local shop up, they have a mini size which I think fit the bill!

I have recently started useing the Nash clips.
Small in profile, and no bulky bits.

Eddie,
I've been looking at the Genie ones but they all seem way too big, are the mini ones new?

Rod,
Look on the Specialist Tackle advert (just below Tackleguard) for the gizmo clips which are listed in (Terminal Tackle) Then two spaces down at the purpose made rubbers.
I would say these are very similar to the Nash clips. Very streamlined.

Baz, Malc,
thanks for the smaller sized ones but I don't think they can be attached to a swivel. I didn't mention at the start but I want to use the link with a lead clip, at the moment I use a normal link swivel, so that when I want to recast I can add a pva mesh bag to the hooklength by unclipping and threading it down, but the clips I mentioned earlier (the korda ones) looked neater and slip onto a swivel, or do you know if these clips sit in the lead clip recess?

Eddie,
wow, your right there, I just had a look at the two websites and they do look identical with the Gemini ones being almost half the price.

Bryan,
thanks to your good self as well. Do you use these clips, if so how do you find they behave?

Sorry, I meant the Genie ones are half the price of the Gemini ones.

Rodney, all I can suggest is that you get some and have a play mate.

They hook on to a swivel fine, but I don't know about them being able to sit in the lead clip recess?

They are perfectly sized for pulling through a pva bag, that i can vouch for.

I have used the Genie (boom clip in matt bronze finish) clips for a couple of years now. Open up the closed end and hook onto a swivel before closing with pliers. I haven't had one open out on me and if it is done carefully I can't see it causing problems.

I tend to use one of the smaller, soft Nash lead clip rubbers to slide up the hooklength and over the clip as it covers everything abnd creates a good boom effect to throw the hooklength away from the lead.

PS the larger sizes of Genie clip (silver)are ideal for quick change of wire traces when pike fishing.
