carp safety leaders lead clips

confussed as to wats safe and wats not,is there need for tubing and y r some clips fixed and some not. Some mags show sleeves pushed on tight to clips and some not.Is the aim to loose the lead or the clip/leader??

Some clips are fixed some are not i would definatley go for the fixed ones. The idea is too loose the lead if it becomes snagged dont push the tail rubber too far on and dont forget to moisten first.

You will need some form of tubing or leader (flourocarbon or lead core) firstly to protect the fish's flanks from being cut by the line and to keep it all pinned down out of site.

The simplist way for you too fish if you are worried about safety is with a length of tubing and a free running lead.

Dont try to bodge up a leder and lead clip untill you have read up or been shown how to do it properly.
