Tamworth Carp Waters

Hi all,

I have just moved into the Tamworth area (N Warks/Staffs border)from Devon and i am looking for decient carp waters as i do not know this area. Pref somewhere where night fishing is allowed.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be cool,

The lake is 11 acres and can be found not far from Shuttington Village. Lake is well stocked with carp between 10lb and 20lb.

Riks suggestion is good but you'll have to join the Lamb, which could entail waiting until next April. Try Barston Lake,details can be found below :

nice water, the first few thirties are starting to come out, you can park behind your peg on half the lake, plus loads of smaller fish if the bigger ones aren't playing. Its just 3 junctions down the M42.
