Bait Fishing Help

Hi Guys,

I am about to embark on a bait fishing trip to a local fishery (central scotland), They only stock trout (bows/brown) any ideas for baits, methods ect?? Im stuck!

If it's bait for trout they love sweetcorn, if it's not banned give it a go. If you are fishing a river try upstream worming as this is probably the most skillful way of catching them despite what the fly fishers will tell you. I say this even though I'm obsessed with fly fishing in all it's forms. But if you see a real expert with the upstream worm you will come to the same conclusion I came to.

From past experience i would say that worms are most deffinately the best bait for trout. A good mouthfull of maggots also does the trick. good luck
