anyone know of a burner, similar in size to the coleman alpine, that can also run off petrol? dont want to have to take a load of spare cartridges when i can get petrol for free....
father in law has an MSR stove and says it's the bizz

the primus omnifuel(runs on liquids and cartridge gas) and optimus nova look good too; don't know anyone with one tho.

I'd have a look at this one Primus Gravity MF ?75 00 Cotswold Outdoor Stores.
Runs on White Gas, Kerosene and unleaded petrol. Very low to ground as well.
