Can i get opinions on these two lakes including tactics employed by people.

does anybody know of a good syndicate water around wiltshire or oxford?

Both cracking venues but suffer from being busy nearly all the time. Weekends is probably a nightmare. A friend of mine caught there in early summer by fishing single maize and small bags whilst everyone else spodded the Hell out of it (St Johns). Rammed with big carp and huge tench. Could try a gallon of maggots....???

Try the Mag-Aligner maggots by Enterprise Tackle. Tells you how to fish it on the back of the packet. Basically a leadcore helicopter rig, 8" braid hooklink and pva bag of maggots. Don't know whether leadcore is allowed there, they do have plenty of rules. Ring man in charge Roy Parsons on 07885 327708 for more advice.

dont ring roy hell never stop talking :O)
either that or be prepared for a week long phonecall.

theyre both good lakes if you can crack them st johs fish tend to follow the wind.
