Angling Clubs on the Ribble/North West

Could anyone give me advice on Angling Clubs on the River Ribble or North West Barbel waters(apart from RADAC and PAAS - waiting list too long)who have available membership. I live near Blackburn in the Ribble valley.

Warrington Anglers have two good stretches John. Balderstone and Hurst Green.

Membership about ?27 plus ?25 joining fee.
?27 per year after that.

Also Wigan they have a stretch at Elston. ?20 a year.
There website does not seem to work anymore.

There is also Southport who have Church Deeps

Bryan, I put an application in for RADAC last year but a friend tells me that after their committee meeting this week I still have another 3 years to wait!

It will soon pass. I put my application in this year so will probably be waiting another 4 years.
