Any suggestions for keeping dendra worms fresh? I've had some in a tub for the past week and don't really want to "lose" them before the weekend.

Think you might get some tips on the "wormary" thread further down.

colsmiff, dendroboenas should keep for weeks as long as you keep them somewhere cool and don`t make the soil that they live in wet.
i`ve actually kept a pot of them for about 2 months with no problems.

I bought some dendras back in july and just kept them in the soil that they came in. I used the last of them a couple of weeks ago, and they were ok. I was actually quite surprised, but will definately be buying them again!

I keep mine in the garage, does anyone know whether the cold weather will adversely effect them or not?

Alex two aspects worms don't like is frost and heat. Being a creature made up of about 95% water you can understand why.

The garage should keep them free from the excesses of both.

Thanks guys. The shed seems to be perfect. I'm just concerned that there now appears to be more worm than soil in the tub!
