Hi
I've been looking for a spare battery for my Sony HX1 and noticed that there is some cheap batteries going on ebay ,but they have different(7.4V) voltage to the original sony battery which is 6.8V.Is this likely to affect the camera?

Probably not. The key is the battery number, and if that matches up, there shouldn't be a problem. But bear in mind that cheapo batteries often have poor life and sometimes low mh (the amount of current they can store)
