Ditto Matt ,What speed is that lead doing if it comes back at you ,more than enough to kill you ,wouldn`t be the first unlucky angler would you ?

when i first got into carping my dad made up a controller out of a big avon float by wrapping lead foil (from a hastily drunk bottle of wine!) around the bottom of it. brilliant float, but i once got it caught in some pads and in pulling for a break it shot out of the water and buried it in the tree behind me!
