Buscote Weir

Can anyone give me some info on fishing the Buscot weir section of the Thames? Is it possible to fish on a day ticket? If so where can you buy tickets? Is the fishing any good? What tatics work etc.

This shows the weir permits for that area Buscot being one.Weir permits are good value for money, certain rules apply though , no nights being one.
As for the sections above nd below I don't know but an old friend used to fish with a Swindon based club called the Pheonix Angling Club which had fishing around the weir.Good Chub and Pike fishing.
