Big Pike in Darwell Reservoir

I was Down at the water today and a guy from Southern Water turned up in his van and introduced himself to me. During our chat he was telling me that there are some huge pike in the water. He also said that there are some really big perch and eels too. I do hope you Pikers are going to come down when the water is open and prove that there really are some big pike in the water.

Where is it Tim?......are there going to be any retrictions? eg is livebaiting allowed and will they be available to purchase or can we catch our own?

Any news on this anyone ? - I've been watching the threads on Darwell for a while now but nothing seems to be happening. I'd certainly be up for a day or two piking - especially if there were no silly restrictions.
