double overhand knot

Hi everybody

Please could you help me again.

Reading an article it said to make a small loop using a double overhand knot, I admit i'm a beginner but i thought that was a stopper knot.

Has anyone got a picture of this , i think i know what it looks like but i'm not positive.

Mark I?m a beginner too so I might be wrong, but I?m sure I?ve seen somewhere (maybe on here) that you take the end back a couple of inches to form the loop. Then you create the double overhand knot with the doubled over length thus creating the loop in the end (does that make sense?).

Sorry if I?m wrong?

Have a look in the ?Rigs Page Library? under ?Get Properly Knotted? I think the ?Blood Bight? might be close to what your after

Again sorry if I'm wrong...
