Forget all your glossy magazines and TV programs like Matt Hayes glorifying himself in edited footage of catches, this is the place to be if you want to learn and even contribute to the noble sport of angling.

I have been using this website for about a year now to look up articles on technique and locations, read the interesting views of others in the forums, and to find reviews of tackle.

The best thing is - IT's FREE !!!! - What more could you ask.

Well done Fishing Magic Team - Keep it going.

And there is nothing to beat a fishing weekend with the FM mob.

FM fish-ins can be fabulous, especially if Barney and Ed are there to provide the humour and Swordsy or Chris Pearson is there to provide the food.

Keep well upwind of Barney though.

Re 'Barney' - "I met him once and then avoided him for years!"

I too only met him the once, but he has been banned from Tesco's cafe and there's even a road block on the way into Bandbury now. Residents have asked to uprate the smell from the Kraft factory just in case.

Never ceases to amaze me how many threads I end up on.

Still it's nice to have a reputation - even if it is a bad one !!!!!!!

I have got to add though Gary, the smell wasn't half as long lasting as Mr Nellist's waterproof overtrousers.

and they've been banned as well.

Well, I sat next to Gary at Clattercote and I think he was quite fragrant.Mind you it was a bit windy that day.
From what I hear though, I'm glad he didn't come to the Indian.
I also sat opposite Mr Nellist in the Indian and didn't notice any unusual odours.

NOTE:Must make an appointment with the ear nose and throat specialist.
