At long last somebody has had the foresight to start the ball rolling in forming our very own club.

I will gladly put myself on standby as bailiff, I am the man for the job, as I allready know all the bad uns on this site. I can't wait to start enforceing the bans and kicking people off.

How about this as a job title for a s$$t shifter -: (Risk Assesment Officer)
I kid you not, his job is to go around removeing any dog crap, litter or any other rubbish on the banks before a match.
Oh, how his eyes lit up at his new title.

Bailiff - Baz?

He only wants a free Platinum ticket.

You'll never see him around the fishery once it's settled in. We're too well behaved giving him no excuse to nick our cards.

I fancy being a platinum member, carried to my chosen peg and breakfast when I ring, now thats what I call a club. Needle guns to shoot trespassers and the odd bailiff foolish enough to venture onto the site, great stuff!

Joking aside though, its not such a bad idea that you have come up with Kevin, I don't know how many members we have on here now but ?30 a year would buy a lot of fishing rights I reckon. Mmmmmmmmm.

I don't like that business of being an Icon.

We could even name various swims, just like they do at Selby Three Lakes.
And have a wall of shame in the clubhouse.

Here?s a few that spring to mind.

Keepnet Corner?. For the Stillwater barbel anglers.

Bluffers Cove?.. For the secretive angler.

Bream beach? for those with no landing nets.

Put me down for a platnium card. I like my coffee with milk no sugar.

Will there be a club house with bunks for the members that have to travel great distances to the fishery

Don't forget peg to peg kamode service for the older platinum members. Motorised zimmers and personal nurse service.

I've got ?30 going spare, trouble is we would need to cater for the carp boys and the barbel boys.
I hope we would not have to put some whiskers into a puddle as a compromise!

Nice one Kevin.;-)

great idea kevin!

you can imagine what the weeklies will say!

anglers mail special edition;

"we review the worlds best fishing club for every type of angling,
they've been going two years now and have won the world carp challenge, best match team ever and have taken the award for most gifted angler (hardly suprising considering 50percent of fisherman are members) !
...........

the list could on!
