"And now that he's visited Erin's green shore
We'll be much better friends than we've been heretoafore
When we've got all we want, we're as quiet as can be
Where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea."

Lucky, lucky, lucky, so and sos.

Sounds like a really great trip.

And that hill? They have one in Scotland just like it and you can even use the sea as a level. Perhaps they should call "Escher Hill".

Sounds like you two had a hooley, what a wonderful place Ireland is, they don't say green with envy for nothing do they?

I wonder what a week with them would cost, I'd love to have a go at piking under their supervision cos I'm a novice at it, no idea in fact, and would welcome some experience. Any idea Graham, roughly, or should I just contact them?

We had an absolutely brilliant time Graham and can't wait to get back over there next August to fly fish for the bass and sea trout when they're at their best. I don't actually know what the cost is and they're still updating their web site. Best to give Brian or Fergal a call on the numbers in the article.

Nice verse Woody, and oh so true!

Oh how I wish it were my own verse though Graham. You have to thank Percy French for that one.

Lovely old tune though.
