zebra mussels

i,ve just been reading a article in a mag about zebra mussels & the problems they are causing to our waterways etc. and that they have just been voted Britains most dangerous ecological alien invader. I hadnt heard of them before. Has anybody had any problems with them in the waters that they fish or know much about them?

Thanks i,ll have a look, the article seems to infer that they are a bigger problem than the crayfish & they are bad enough. They are causing blockages in pipelines, filter beds & pumps & killing off native freshwater mussels
