Lowther leads way in River Don challenge
WINNER of the latest round of the Eastern Region winter league fished on the River Don at Sprotbrough was Steve Lowther (Middy Team Dons).
He landed 23-9-0 to head a string of double figure weights. He was on peg 41 and fished groundbait feeder with red maggot for skimmers to 2lb.
Other placings: 2 B Bell (FAPS Stainforth) 21-9-0, 3 I Exley (Middy Team Dons) 17-14-0, 4 S Donoghue (Middy Team Dons) and J Ibbotson (Sensas Walton) both 14-10-0, 6 T Banks (FAPS Stainforth) 14-5-0.
