There are many aspects of our personality that are genetic. Alcoholism killed GB's mother anbd he fought it all his life. To criticise him for an affiction that he battled for most of his life is utterly stupid.
GB was a superb footballer and a very charismatic man who seems to have been loved very much even by those most affected by his alcoholism.
We should remember and celebrate him for his genius not his genetic propensity to have a problem with alcohol.
That is why I said he would probably do it all again on the other thread, because it was genetic.
At the time I remember people saying what a fool he was.
