Can anyone reccomend a decent quality telescopic rod that can be used for pike fishing, preferably around 2.75-3lb TC?

To save anybody wasting their time I am not interested in ET's Sneaker rods or any other multi piece blanks, only telescopic rods.

No. But I love teles for practicality so let me know if you find a good one - but it must fit in a suitcase!

A few years ago I bought an ABU 12 ft telescopic carp rod with a test curve of 2.5 lbs. I'm pleased with it because it's much easier to transport in a small car compared with the usual 12 footer with two sections.

I use it mainly for pike fishing although I have had a few carp on it up to 16lbs. It's functional rather than elegant, but it does the job.

If you want I'll find out the model number.
