This winter has been my worst run of blanks -4 but with everywhere frozen or ice cold it was about 6 weeks between fish

I still haven't caught a fish since the Itchen Fish-In...but I've hardly been out because of the conditions. Not particularly minded to yet either.

This winter and last have been the worst since I started fishing in 1980.

1962. If it counts. I never fished from early December till June due to iced-up waters and then the close season. I still remember it vividly, almost went mad!

Blanked on the Severn again today with the Spillers on a banker zander swim.
Not had a fish since the snow in minus 11...

Think that was my worst time as well! On the credit side I had a month on the old outward bound scheme in all that snow-- Fabulous.

Had one blank since Xmas, had a couple of "tiddler" only days but hey, it's just nice to be out
