I am looking for the older version of this reel by Shimano 8/10 years old be in near mint condition i think they came with gold coloured spools i have been told there were better made than the versions you can now get of them.
It will be used manily for Lure/Plugging/Spinning hence the front drag model are these reels all that there are cracked up to be?
I would also consider a 3000 model as i think there big enough for bit of deadbaiting Pike/Zander.
