When the weather starts to warm up and the natural food starts to become available, the Carp will feed more. Typically this starts around March.

Carp spawn when the temperature is right, this is normally from from June until August.

Carp feed all of the time, but the rate varies with the available food and the temperature.

I`ve sat all weekend on waters were the carp have been thrashing the weeds, presumably spawning, as soon as these actions have stopped, within hours, we have started catching again. We found it could last two or three days

I've had occasion when my wife has been thrashing around like she was in some kind of spawning mode, and you are right Monk, the actions rormally calm down after a few hours or so, and within a couple of days I can catch her again!!

Do fish get PMT?
