trust me the grinner knot IS the best knot in the world use it for almost every thing...good luck ...chalky.

sorry sent the wrong message first [blush] first put your momo or what ever through the eye of the hook twice then go round 4 times ,i would do 5 turns,then wet the knot and tighten, there you go the grinner knot ....chalky

(i'm not sure if this is the right knot or not as there does seem to be verious different ways shown how to do this knot on the net ! some are clearly not the right knot,but what knot is the right knot and what knots not)

lol nice one chavender, i got my knot from the fox paperback[the fox guide to carp rigs] which also covers a lot of other things as well including the grinner knot, which i left in my last message....chalky.
