Hi again
Has anyone ever made their own platform?

Cant really get one delivered to NZ as they are too expensive to post but thought i could make my own...anyone else ever done this and has anyone got any decent picture or plans????? Cheers

Kiwi, what do you mean by platform ?

Metal rod pod for setting up two or three rods on a hard bank, or a permanent fishing platform for installing in the shallow boggy margins of a lake ?

I mean portable platform.....the sort you sit your box on...with legs and possible converts to a trolley/barrow.....

they might be difficult to make at home, since the construction seems to be mainly alloy, and I don't know how easy it is to weld specialist alloys.

Im a time served engineer with welding being one of my specialities so shouldnt be a problem.....
Just need some decent pics from different angles so I can design my own.....

Long time no post.....going good....been flat out with work but its getting better....

You dont know anyone with an old Dam Futron Pole do ya????? Lost a top 4 to a carp....never leave bait in margins LOL

Would really like to get my hands on a full pole...sure someone must have one collecting dust somewhere.....Ive had mine a good few years now and its still in good nik..so dont really want to get a new one ...but if I can find another one for sale Ill have plenty of spares for a few more years....
