Yes a big well done Graham, I think its mainly due to the personification of your inpact on both angling and as a person, in that you`ve always rated as one of the good guys in specialist angler and amazingly avoid the controversy that some of us courted, then again specialising in bream may have kept you away from the bad boys? All the same mate, a big well done.

my guesstimate is 23684 based on the id number of the latest paddler currently posting on general, a bit to go yet. But as DB and the Monk says a remarkable achievement, well done FM Staff.

Can't beat a good old lurk at times. Especially in a certain Monk's bivvy.

Personally I think Lurker have great restraint, and I would think they are they are extrememly deviant people, very insecure or just insular by nature. Personally I`ve never been able to look at a party through the window from the outside, I`d much sooner me in the middle stood on the table making an exhibition of myself.

Yeah OK I`ll worry about tommorrow when tommorrow comes!

I particularly liked the posting made by one of the canoeists when that thread started.

Hahahaaa.
What irks me is that lurkers do what they do without giveing any input and just do the taking.
Most probably sat there shaking their heads while reading the threads, (modern parent style).

just eddited out a couple of my own spelling mistakes.

Here's a clue to member numbers, it's less than ID numbers suggest as occasionally we do a bit of weeding of dead email addresses. But it's more than 22,000 and less than 24,000.
