Another briliant article Mark. The photo of Archie reminds me of one of my dogs who has also passed away. She used to curl up just like that.
I remember when she grabbed another anglers dead sardine hook bait and did a runner with it, complete with a set of trebles attatched to it. I don't know how she did it but she swallowed the sardine and spat the trebles out.
Good companions.

My Jack Russels curl up just like that but they roll in a ball together. Sometimes it is a good thing they are different colours so that I can tell which dog is which. My Dogs make me laugh the whole time even though they are very naughty and it is always very sad when they pass on to the great lampost in the sky.
