Just heard on the radio that people have spotted a whale in the river Thames, near the houses of parliament!

Anyone else heard anything?

Thought to be a pilot whale.

I'm gonna bring some of those new sturgeon egg pva bags.

Do you think Swordsy's barbel retention net will be up to the job?

It's a northern bottle-nosed whale according to the news wires, they haven't seen one in the Thames since 1913.

Just got under Westminster Bridge, still heading upstream. Some whale expert's been out to examine it and reckons it's healthy.

I can see it now....The whale society!

Swim wild swim free!

"There is no place for keepnets in whale fishing!"

"BUT after a three day fight the buggers are bellying up in the English Channel"

"And don't sleep by your rods...We are whale fishermen not shark fishermen!"

:O)
