PIKE MAD

Hi folks,

I have just been bitten by the Pike bug. After many years of general course fishing i decided to concentrate on Piking for a while. I am now well and truely hooked .. as they say.

Could anyone offer me their ten best tips to improve my success and to help me create a safer and more professional approach to catching and handling my Pike.

My best so far has been 15lb ... not huge but still a good fish.

as has been said many times before to novice pikers,look at the pike anglers club of gb website for tips on methods,rigs,tackle etc ,it will also give you the contact details of your nearest pac region.by joining the local region(and the pac)you will gain valuable knowledge and guidance from experienced pike anglers.don`t expect (or ask) them for "the best spots".
if you haven`t got a region near you,ask other more experienced anglers on the bank to give you guidance etc.tightlines.
