I'm heading off to Cuba tommorrow for a fortnight family holiday, I'm not taking any fishing gear but hoping that there will be somewhere that i can get out on a boat to do a bit of sea fishing.
I'm going staying near a place called guardalavaca any advice would be appreciated

Dont have much time to post Nicky but you can hire a boat and tackle for a spot of estuary fishing for Tarpon mainly but be preprared to pay big bucks.I paid about ?150 for a mornings tarpon fishing 5 years ago.

If you are at a resort hotel someone should be able to sort things for you but it will be likely by way of an "unofficial" trip and you will need to pay in dollars. If the hotel cant sort you, go to the nearest marina and ask about discretley where you see a few rods.

There is some very good fishing to be had and it is still very under exploited.

It would be cheaper if it was the three of you certainly.I had the boat to myself and had to pay for both the boat and the guide.
