What area on the river ouzel is best for chub? I have had a go at Sparkes Meadow and had a couple out. Any thoughts?

Yeah but I wondered if there were any specific hotspots.

Screwed if I know I live 180 miles away, but I've been there often enough to know its solid throughout mate!

Especially the bit above the big weir!

It's one of the best chub and roach rivers I've ever fished and had chub up to 5lb all the way through. Just look for the chubby swims, there's stacks of them.

The trouble I've been having is finding 'fishable' strectches - in both senses of the word. Legal and big enough to fish.
