A1 pits

could anybody shed any light on whether it's worth targeting A1 pits for the pike these days (I last fished there about 6 years ago), I normally fish the Severn, Wye and in Scotland but fancy a change. are you still able to bivvy up? - I've tried on the phone number on the internet - with no reply!

sadly Martin pits are being ''miss managed'' by current owners,things are getting a bit run down shall we say. also some right no-brainers doing bailiffing, but if you can put-up with all the t***S and rubbish still some fair fish to be had, not saying in which pit they are you will have to do your own home work on that-one mate!
