has anyone fished the evesham country park stretch? im thinking of giving it a go for the first time 2morro ,my last bit of river fishing before the window closes and having blanked twice since xmas once on the arrow(in flood) and once on avon at harvington im keen to at least get 1 kipper on the bank to break my bad luck even if its a small roach! lol...ive heard theres barbel and also quite good for bream aswell?

The country park holds some very good fish (over the 14lb mark) Though in my expeience the fish tend to move. So what is a good swim today may not produce tomorrow.
Standard tactics work well and pellet will still catch you a fish or two. The trick (if there is one) is not to feed too much. A few (10 or so) every hour is enough. An open ended feeder with a groundbait plug at each end and the pellets in the middle.
