I have been struggling to catch at my local lake. I had resoted to trying every single bait i own. eventually i got to a bag of dog biscuits left over from the summer. I put a biscuit on and had it popped up about 6 inches off the bottom. within 5 minutes it roared off. This repeated 6 times that same day. It can't be a coincidence can it?

It is an untapped carp magnet. The fish were all mid to upper doubles so nout tiny bout the catches. I found that they responded better to really long hairs. i mean bout an inch gap between the hook and the bait. I reckon if you are searching a water with single baits, dog biscuits will out fish pop-up boilies. They do however go soft and will come off as you reel in but that does not necessarily mean that the bait had come off prior to reeling in. What i'm trying to say is they will stay on for hours but will come of as you reel in.
