One fish or two?

These two pictures appear on my club website. They were taken several years apart, but are both of fish from the same lake. The question is, is it the same fish or two similar ones.

I have cut & pasted the two fish alongside each other to help.
Note that the two captors claim very different weights.

They look very similar Glen but the one photo is very dark, it makes it difficult to trace the scale configuration. Is there a better photo?
