Hi all

This is my first post on here so I hope you can help me out.

After a long layoff im back fishing again but detest all these muddy puddles that have sprung up.

Many moons ago when it was on the Coventry book, I used to fish the Trent at thrumpton. I used to take great bags of chub and barbel on the stretch just down from the weir (the beach on section 2 as it was called).

I understand it is no longer on the Coventry book and was wondering if anyone knew if it was available to fish on a day ticket or if I need another book. Also it would be handy to know how its fishing.

Thanks in advance
Paul

Me and my mate fished thrumpton last season( 2011 ),The stretch just past thrumpton hall,This stretch used to belong to coventry and district angling society,And yes it was still on the day ticket then, if I remember right it was either £5.50 or £6.50 for the day ticket.
