Has anyone tried these and if so do they require any particular preparation (soaking etc)?

No real preparation at all.

I knew a farmer in SA who sent all his Macademia nuts via a import/export company to Fortnum and Mason in London.

I hope you are not thinking of using them for bait. They are too good for that.

They are very good for you too.

Well actually!

My wife came back with them from Tescos (something about having a low GI) and I saw them in the shopping bag.

So no preparation needed at all? Thanks. I tried to do a forum search but it seems to be broken.

just soak them for at least 48hrs....and boiling helps release the oils....
