Posted this yesterday in venue reports, I'll give it one more try in this forum

Going down to see my son on Sunday who lives in Great Billing, Northampton.
Closest sites appear to be Billing Aquadrome or Sywell Reservoir. We'll be fishing the waggler (well I will) any tips or alternatives please.

castle ashby fisheries is quite near they have a website Home Page might be worth a look but i dont know anything about the place.

Looks a bit easier than a rezza (I havn't fished one since Edgbaston as a kid & I'm sure I blanked then!)

Last time I fished Billing Aquadrome was in 1969. I doubt my contribution would be worth anything these days, but it was a nice place to fish.

Neneman Nick is the man you want, I think he knows it very well.

Sywell can be hard. Nice tench though.

My lads the only person I could fish with who knows less than me (I think:wh)

Blanker's suggestion looks a bit easier than Sywell with some decent fish but if it was warmer those tench would look tempting.
