1st International Conference on the Grayling Organised by the Grayling
Research Trust
University of York, 11-13 July 2006
Conference Website - http://www.graylingresearch.org
Call for papers
This will be the first international conference on grayling. As such,
it
will cover all aspects of grayling, including its biology, its ecology
and
its management. The conference will provide a suitable forum for a full
interchange of ideas which we hope will lead to more enlightened
management
of grayling stocks.
We hope to attract presentations from across the range of the European
grayling (Thymallus thymallus) and the other grayling species. We
intend
that a wide range of interests, including scientists working on
grayling
and those responsible for the management of grayling stocks are active
participants.
It is intended that a full peer-reviewed proceedings of the meeting
will be
published by the following autumn (2007).
