Reels for stalking rod?

Hi all

I just bought a new 6" stalker rod and now I need a reel for it. I've got a Shimano Super X 3000 reel, but will this be to small?

How about a good quality centrepin? Can't beat 'em for stalking, although you're limited a bit with casting distance (well I am at least !!).
Okuma do a good one. Fair price too.

ive got a 9 foot jungle stick and use the smallest shimano baitrunner 5010

I still prefer a baitrunner because I can still use a semi-fixed rig if need be

I have the 6' Century T1 and with it I use the Shimano Super GTM-RA 4000. The instant drag lever is excellent for close quarters control.

SHIMANO STRADIC 4000 X GTM IS A GREAT REEL FOR CLOSE UP STALKING AS LILTPAD SAID THE DRAG LEVER IS BRILL AND GIVES YOU FAR MORE CONTROL IN CLOSE QUARTERS
