The WTT has launched its new website. It's still being shaken down, but well worth a look if you value Britain and Ireland's wild brown trout population.

There's also a link to a charity auction with some fantastic fishing up for grabs - guided days on rivers like the Test, Itchen, Wylye and Bourne with some the country's leading fly fishermen.

The auction starts next Tuesday. Click on the link for a look at the new site and links to the auction.

Happy bidding!

I've just got the list of lots through the post. Some of the water on there is awesome, and so are some of the prices. However there is some really affordable sport, some of the days start at ?20.

I'd encourage anyone interested in wild trout fishing to download or print off the list of fishing days available. I've found it serves the purpose of a superb index to some great wild fishing in Britain, and the controling clubs etc.
