Just a heads-up that Lidl's flogging off an assorted mixture of tat and good stuff. The fishing bags are usually good (though rising in price) and the free-spool reels at £12.99 seem OK

Thanks MarkTheSpark, willpop down to my local Lidl in Witney and have a look. Anyone aware if the weights are legal, as some from europe carry lead in the small sizes.

They've just added a Tesco lite or whatever they call their smaller stores near us...so in 300 yards you can visit Morrisons, Aldi, Coop and Tesco...plus Focus and Go Outdoor...so one useful shop then!!!

all shot above a size 8 should be non toxic. from a size 8 down you can use lead!
