Just picked up the angling times an was amazed to see another huge perch. They are getting bigger by the week!
At 5lb 15oz you have to say that this must be one of the biggest in our waters...unless you know different, and is certainly bigger than I ever thouight possible in the UK.
The rig was not what I would call refined for such a shy biting specimen. However, this monster gave his capture a full blooded run which I guess is fairly unusual. Perhaps that was down to the tackle arrangement?
Anyhow,the sight of such a fish is a true inspiration and my hearty congratulations go out to its captor.
