Give one of the Bailiffs a ring mate, Mike Grief is normally a good bet, you'll get a number for him on the internet if you search for the KLAA angling club. Ask where the match fish are coming out and head there. Failing that, head for an area away from immediate access points and fish to any features you can find.

Otherwise, it may pay to ask Mark Barrett if he'll help you out, he has a lot of current knowledge on the water or visit www.averagezedheaven.com you will find a little more info, although a little dated now, on the drain.

Kind regards,
Dave

Good luck mate!!!

Oh and whatever you do, if you're fishing the day only, travel light and keep moving til you get runs!

Go with a mate as it is very lonely away from the roads and don't talk to any of the banjo playing locals as it will only lead to trouble. How do you spot a local? They are the ones with missing teeth and webbed hands and feet!

Not much been caught on there for weeks and it'll probably be pumped off between tides at the weekend.
