flip button

Having just got a second hand john wilson six shooter multi plyer i`m trying to work it out ,most is obvious except the flip button ,any idea what thats all about?or any other buttons in case i`m wrong with them as well ,many thanks

hard work arnt they mate.
buy a shimano baitrunner,easy and stress free.......

Does it disengage the spool..? If so it's to make one-handed casting easier, the smaller ABUs with anti-backlash have something similar; a thumb bar which puts them in freespool.

Baitrunners are pretty useless for lure fishing.

Hi Gus, the rod is an 8` e-sox spinflex 2lb test curve, haven`t tried it with the multiplyer as yet but will on sunday;the rods pretty good i`ve had pike to 12lb on it, there is a release button for casting but until i`m using it the flip button will remain a mystery
